Course information

Guided Pathways is a fully funded, four-week online course from the Alberta Workforce Essential Skills Society (AWES) designed to help you integrate Skills for Success concepts into your career development practice. It consists of four modules and combines weekly live events and self-paced readings and activities. Every week, you will attend a one-hour live webinar, and in weeks two and four, you will join a one-hour live session to collaborate with other participants in a group work activity. Guided Pathways is self-paced, but we recommend a time investment of approximately five hours per week to complete the course work.

As part of the course, you will also receive access to a Community of Practice for three months where you can connect with other participants, find resources for your practice, share your experience implementing Skills for Success, and learn from others to continue building your expertise. Participation in the Community of Practice is one of the components required to receive a certificate of completion.

There is no cost to register for Guided Pathways.
